Digitalizācijas projektu ietvaros ir vēlams definēt digitalizācijas projekta procesa aprakstu (iesaistītās puses, lomas, darbības termiņus, izņēmumu apstrāde) un kvalitātes nodrošināšanas plānu, norādot, kādas kvalitātes pārbaudes un kādos procesa soļos tiks veiktas. Digitalizācijas projektu ietvaros ir vēlams izstrādāt pakalpojuma sniegšanas procesa aprakstu, iekļaujot visu pakalpojuma sniegšanai nepieciešamo telpu, tehnisko un personāla resursu sarakstu un pakalpojuma sniegšanas soļu diagrammu ar paskaidrojumiem, kā arī komunikācijas plānu un risku vadības plānu.
